Interested in rope, but haven’t felt like the rope play you’ve seen “works” for you? Rope can be more than tedious patterns, restriction, or suspension of particular body types. Discover the diversity of rope practice in this interactive, beginner-level IN-PERSON class, where you can find what inspires you! Join HitchinKitten, who will explore the many types of rope play and introduce skills to incorporate rope into whatever play you enjoy.
This is a partner- and self-tie friendly class held at our N. Portland location. One ticket per attendee, limited spots available! Please bring a yoga mat. Chairs will be available for those who prefer or need them. No tying experience required to attend, though we do recommend having at least one piece of ~30ft rope. Some practice rope can be provided.
HitchinKitten (they/she/it) is a kitten-ish rope witch and sadomasochistic switch that likes her kink to be whimsically delicious. Her kink is connection, and rope is the path she takes to get there. HK focuses on movement, foundational concepts, and functionality to encourage accessible, connective, and collaborative improvisation in rope practice and beyond. HK is also the facilitator of Hitchin’ Bitches PDX, and provides private and group rope instruction, as well as tastings at events.
