SUMMARY:Autism & Sexuality: Embracing Difference
DESCRIPTION:This class will be held online via Zoom — you’ll receive an email with access information prior to the event. While classes are LIVE in nature and by default not recorded\, some educators have chosen to offer recordings of their classes to pre-registered attendees; please inquire for specifics of this event. Registration deadline: 2:30 p.m. PST on the day of class. No day-of cancellations. \n\n\n\nWe don’t talk enough about sexuality and Autistic adults. How do relationships work between Autistic and non-Autistic people? Although Autistic people are all unique\, common issues with sexuality and intimacy tend to come up. \n\n\n\nNavigating intimacy can be challenging but can make for interesting and enjoyable experiences too! Morrigan and Kate\, both Autistic Social Workers\, will invite you to have a conversation on the myths and realities of sex for Autistic people and imagine ways in which we can create a more accessible world. \n\n\n\nKate McNulty LCSW is an Autistic therapist in private practice who works with Autistic adults. Author of Love and Asperger’s\, a book for mixed-neurotype relationships. Non-binary\, all pronouns. Morrigan Hunter is an Autistic social worker who is passionate about research and education regarding neurodivergent sexual health equity. Morrigan is agender and uses they/them pronouns. \n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re offering 2 free class spots to folks with financial need; please fill out this form if you are interested.
