SUMMARY:Mixed Desire: What to Do When We Want Different Things
DESCRIPTION:This class will be held online via Zoom — you’ll receive an email with access information prior to the event. While classes are LIVE in nature and by default not recorded\, some educators have chosen to offer recordings of their classes to pre-registered attendees; please inquire for specifics of this event. Registration deadline: 2:30 p.m. PST on the day of class. No day-of cancellations. \n\n\n\nAre you way kinkier than your partner? Or way more interested in genital contact than your fuck buddy? Do you only want sex once a year and your spouse wants it every night? Do you feel like you just keep MISSING your partners and you can’t connect like you used to? \n\n\n\nThere is nothing more normal in a relationship than having different needs. Just because we love someone doesn’t mean our desires will be the same! So why do we get so scared about having different desires when it comes to sex? Wanting sex in a different way than a partner is nothing to feel ashamed about\, but we do feel that shame. It’s okay. You’re not broken! \n\n\n\nJoin certified holistic sex educator Tuck Malloy for an evening of exploration on desire and connection. In this class\, students will learn about desire and how it functions for each person. You will practice identifying and articulating your specific desires and learn how to create an actionable plan to get everyone’s needs met. This class will guide you through the many ways we can meet our partners in a place that is consensual and connective for everyone\, through all the ups and downs of our different desires. You can stay connected with partners AND get your needs met\, come find out how in this shame-free\, sex-positive workshop! \n\n\n\n\n\nWe’re offering 2 free class spots to folks with financial need; please fill out this form if you are interested.
